The Role
As Regional Director, Central America & Caribbean on the Global Operations team, you will be directly responsible for aligning the region's local context with PW's global strategic direction to develop a PW strategy for the region. We are looking for someone who will oversee the onboarding of the desired regional organizational structure, develop regional team leadership, and support the growth and health of all partners in the regional network.

The Work
- Lead the development of a regional vision, strategy and annual plan
- Support regional staff with country strategies and local partnership networks
- Facilitate regional excellence in program management
- Escalate regional needs and opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders
- Lead all accountability efforts related to the work of Partners Worldwide in the region
- Enhance fundraising initiatives by giving visibility to the achievements reached in the region
- Equip, train, support, and develop the regional team
- Lead the region as an ambassador of the Partners Worldwide culture, beliefs and values
- Manage the regional financial performance and ensure compliance with local laws
- Represent Partners worldwide and its work locally and regionally.

Your Qualifications
- A college or graduate degree in Business, Finance, Economic Development, International Business Development, or a related field
- 5+ years’ overall professional experience with 3+ years’ experience working in business development in the private or non-profit sectors
- Proven experience building and leading high-performance teams, preferably at a regional level
- Proficient in computer use, mainly programs related to communication and financial supervision
- Advanced and effective oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish required – Haitian Creole/French desirable.
- Experience building and maintaining cross-cultural relationships
- Knowledge of business and community development issues in region of responsibility
- Demonstrated project management skills and competency in several of the following areas:
- small business development

- agriculture and agriculture value chain development
- business networks
- small business lending and finance
- organizational sustainability
