The Role 

The Myanmar Partnership Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting, developing, and strengthening partnerships in Myanmar. 

This role is responsible for ensuring smooth collaboration between regional partners and Partners Worldwide (PW), while also contributing to the effectiveness and sustainability of projects. This role supports partnership engagements, knowledge management, and resource mobilization activities. This role also contributes to capacity development to support partners in improving their capabilities.  

We are looking for someone with administrative experience, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service. Someone who not only ensures smooth operations but also brings a tech-savvy, creative edge to the role. Familiarity with AI tools and current technological developments is a big plus, as we continue to innovate in how we serve our partners and communities.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities 

  • Facilitate efficient and consistent communication between partners using web-based project management tools within the organization, emails, conference calls, and other means, including frequent planning, progress, and prayer calls for all relationships. 
  • Assist with materials translation as needed (Burmese – English). 
  • Assist in planning and executing workshops, webinars, and other events that support the mission of our local partners. 
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver targeted training sessions focused on leadership development, operational efficiency, and business growth for staff and leaders of entrepreneurial associations. 
  • Participate in any other Partners Worldwide related activity as requested 
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for our partners to generate revenue to help with the financial sustainability of our local network as well as adding value to their services. 
  • Monitor and document partnership activities. 
  • Collect impact stories and metrics.
  • Other assigned duties 

Your Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree or License in Business, Finance, International Relations, Nonprofit Management, Organizational Development or a related field. 
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in English (both written and verbal). 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for building relationships. 
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and other collaboration tools. 
  • 100% Bilingual (English & Burmese)
