The Role - Consultant: Honduras Partnership Coordinator
The consultant will play a pivotal role in fostering and supporting managing relationships with local partners to enhance collaborative efforts and achieve shared goals. This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about community and business development and has strong organizational and communication skills.
As the consultant for the development of the position of partnership coordinator, your primary role will be to support the success of the Honduras Partnership Team, contributing to a smooth and effective experience for both internal and external stakeholders. This includes responsibilities such as develop and maintain strong relationships with local partners in Honduras, regularly follow up with partners to monitor the progress of ongoing projects and activities, conduct visits to local partners to strengthen relationships and provide support, as well as helping to improve and implement systems, processes, or tools that support your area of work. You may also be involved in special projects, cross-team collaboration, or organizational initiatives.

The Work
Partnership Management Support:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local partners in Honduras.
- Regularly engage with partners to assess needs, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Assist with materials translations as needed.
Annual Partnership Plans:
- Collaborate with partners to create and implement annual partnership plans that align with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of activities outlined in these plans, ensuring timely adjustments as needed.
Field Visits:
- Conduct visits to local partners throughout the year to strengthen relationships and provide support.
- Facilitate discussions with partners to gather insights and share best practices.
Volunteer and Exploratory Visits:
- Assist in the planning and execution of volunteer and exploratory visits, ensuring positive experiences for all participants.
- Coordinate logistics, including travel arrangements and on-the-ground support for visiting volunteers.
Training and Capacity Building:
- Update and maintain information on the digital training platform, ensuring resources are current and accessible.
- Identify training needs among partners and facilitate capacity-building workshops to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Regularly follow up with partners to monitor the progress of ongoing projects and activities.
- Identify and collect impact stories.
- Collect metrics and highlight trends, successes and areas for improvement.
Community Engagement:
- Engage with community stakeholders to promote partnership initiatives and gather community input.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to encourage collaboration among various community entities.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, finance, international relations, nonprofit management, organizational development or related field).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and other collaboration tools.
