The position of Marketing Intern will play an important role in supporting this mission with a focus of providing project management, writing and organization skills to the Marketing team. This position reports to the Communications Specialist within Marketing. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with management and implementation of Partners Worldwide events
    • The six Partners Worldwide global regions, as well as Development Team, host frequent events around the world
    • The intern will help manage intake and implementation of event needs from a Marketing scope 
    • The intern will be responsible for items such as an event intake, developing Eventbrite pages for the events, communicating with global staff about needs and developing and implementing timelines
  • Assist with managing and refining the Partners Worldwide website
    • Refine and rewrite descriptions on each of our 80 local partners (LCIs)
    • Provide monthly analytic reports + insights on web traffic and activity 
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Coordinating communication for the merging of 100K Jobs in Haiti brand into Partners Worldwide Haiti
    • Manage ongoing email communication with the Haiti network
    •  Provide support for Haiti events as needed
  • Assist with Partners Worldwide social media 
    • Draft posts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), research hash tags
    • In addition, support the 100K jobs in Haiti social media posting and transition
    • Compile quotes and Scripture verses to post on Instagram stories/help create our highlights 
    • Check Twitter and Instagram accounts routinely to engage with other people's content
    • Research best posting practices on each platform
  • Manage the Partners Worldwide photo library 
    • Import new photos into the Partners Worldwide photo library, maintain current structure 
    • Name files appropriately, including relevant details
  • Assist with editing and/or writing stories for the blog
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

Applicants should have completed at least three years of undergraduate study in Writing, English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field of study
